12°N61°W GRENADIAN FILM FESTIVAL (1261GFF) is a Caribbean Destination Filmmaker's Festival organized by filmmakers. 12°N61°W Grenadian Film Festival will take place from May 3 to May 9, 2020, in Grenada West Indies.
1261GFF is dedicated to showcasing, highlighting and promoting the highest quality films from Grenada's emerging independent film community, as well as specially selected films from across the Caribbean and African Diaspora globally. Our goal is to celebrate the multiculturalism and diversity of the Caribbean Diasporic communities through film. Filmmakers will be inspired by the experiences of the Caribbean people's social, political, and cultural aesthetics, using such as the catalysts for their raw, empowering, and innovative narratives.
The festival offers a variety of film screenings, and exclusive Grenada film premieres, industry workshops, and filmmakers networking events. 1261GFF brings together our filmmakers and our audiences for our annual program, including dramatic, documentary, short films, and animations.
Keep in mind that we also program children films with a young audience in mind, so don’t hesitate to send your animations, coming of age films and educational works our way for consideration.
