01 · Who we are

An independent Caribbean platform.

Founded in 2019, the festival presents carefully curated films alongside filmmaker conversations, workshops, masterclasses and cultural experiences.

Our work is grounded in Grenada and strengthened by relationships developed across the region and internationally. This perspective allows us to connect local audiences with global independent cinema while creating a meaningful Caribbean platform for filmmakers whose work deserves greater visibility.

Our considered scale keeps the experience personal. Films are selected with intention, and filmmakers are welcomed as creative partners rather than treated as interchangeable content.

02 · Why we exist

Closing the distance.

Caribbean films continue to face barriers to exhibition, visibility and circulation within the region. At the same time, Caribbean audiences deserve greater access to films reflecting the complexity of their histories, cultures and contemporary lives.

The festival exists to help close that distance—bringing filmmakers and audiences together while ensuring that Grenada participates meaningfully in the growth and international conversation around Caribbean cinema.

03 · What we do

Cinema with connection.

We create opportunities for films to be seen, discussed and connected to new communities through four areas of work.

01

Present distinctive films

We curate independent cinema from Grenada, the Caribbean, the African diaspora and the wider international film community.

02

Connect people

Screenings and conversations bring filmmakers, audiences and creative professionals into direct exchange.

03

Support development

Focused workshops and masterclasses create practical opportunities for learning, collaboration and professional growth.

04

Build Grenada's profile

We connect cinema, culture and destination experience while contributing to Grenada's creative economy and regional visibility.
