Darius is an LA-based director currently in pre-production to direct second unit on Peter Farrelly’s next feature, set in New Orleans and Thailand. His short films have screened at many festivals and garnered several awards. His AFI thesis, A RODEO FILM, won the 2019 DGA Student Grand Prize Award and was selected as one of five films to take part in HBO’s Short Film Competition in Miami. Darius made his SVOD debut just four months after graduating from AFI, directing on Peter and Bob Farrelly’s Quibi show, THE NOW. Darius hails from North Carolina and attended NYU Tisch School of the Arts and the AFI Conservatory for cinematography and directing respectively. He lived in Singapore for several years working as a cinematographer across Southeast Asia before making the transition to LA and to directing.
