OCTOBER 2021
1261 FILM FESTIVAL COVID PROTOCOLS FOR 2021
YOUR HEALTH & SAFETY IS OUR HIGHEST PRIORITY
The health and safety of our audience and staff is the highest priority for us, especially as circumstances surrounding COVID-19 continue to evolve. Through close consultation with medical and public health officials, we are announcing this new COVID-19 Safety Policy for attending a screening or an event at the 1261 Film Festival.
As of Saturday October 30, all attendees for in-person events or film screenings will be required to present proof of vaccination as “Fully Vaccinated” OR a negative COVID-19 PCR test taken within 72 hours of the event in order to enter in-person 1261 Film Festival events.
“Fully Vaccinated” is defined by the Ministry of Health in Grenada as being at least 14 days after the receipt of the second dose of a two-dose COVID-19 vaccine (such as Astra Zanica or Pfizer-BioNtech).
To gain admittance to the 1261 Film Festival, all attendees upon picking up your physical badge/tickets you will be required to present a photo ID and proof of COVID-19 vaccination status or negative COVID-19 test results.
Acceptable proof of COVID-19 vaccination or test is:
1. The physical COVID-19 Vaccination Record Card issued to the patron at the time of vaccination or negative results of the COVID-19 PCR test
2. A photograph of the individual’s COVID-19 Vaccination Record Card or negative results of the COVID-19 PCR test; or
3. A digital record of the COVID-19 vaccination or negative COVID-19 test results.
Regarding wearing masks indoors, the 1261 Film Festival is closely monitoring the CDC, State and County guidelines and will adhere to all protocols mandated for wearing masks indoors at the time of the event.
