Days Of A Rooster and Sedatives

Set in a world after the financial collapse of the United States. Accused of terrorism by the corrupt authorities in a politically unstable Caribbean island state, Marla spends her days in hiding, driven to rely on sedatives to ease her chronic state of anxiety. Meanwhile, Luis dreams of striking it rich with cockfighting as part of his plan to make money and flee the country. Marla’s discovery of past-life therapy leads her to look inward and heal, only to have the therapist brutally murdered by a far right group determined to commercialize the world’s first sedative. In this chaotic world, Marla and Luis both come to a decision.
