Synopsis:

Port-au-Prince by night. Doc and Zoe are just hired to deliver an unknown package. Their job comes with three essential rules: never stop the car, never roll down the windows, never open the trunk. At a crossroad, they stumble upon a dog. Each crossroad requires a sacrifice. Their decision will change their path irreversibly.

Bruno Mourral is a writer, director and producer. After completing a degree in economics and management in Bordeaux, he studied film in Paris at EICAR. In 2007, he returned to Haiti to cofound Muska Group with Gaëthan Chancy, a leading company specialized in audiovisual production. In 2009, after an intensive course at the New York Film Academy, he created a second production company "Maninhat" based in Soho, Manhattan. Bruno directed more than 50 commercials in the Caribbean and Africa and won several awards for best commercials. In 2015, he cofounded Muska Films to change the narrative through cinema and develop the Haitian film industry. Bruno directed and produced a mid-length film in 2017, Kafou. Today, he is finishing his first feature, Kidnapping Inc., co-produced by Muska Films, BHM Films, Promenades Films, Peripheria and Canal Plus.


Gilbert Mirambeau Jr. is a producer, writer and activist. He’s the general manager of Muska Group, a leading audiovisual production company based in Haiti. In 2015, he co-founded Muska Films to produce heartfelt movies, poignant documentaries and Tv series. In 2017, he produced first short film, Kafou, and in 2021 his first feature, Kidnapping Inc. Gilbert is an alumnus of the producer’s Labs of The Fiction Toolbox Program from EFM (2022) and Open Doors Producer’s Lab from Locarno (2022). Today, Gilbert is focused on his next feature, Dorval Street scheduled for 2024, The Other Side of the Sea, a documentary scheduled for 2024 and Papa Doc, a TV series scheduled for 2025.
