KINfolk 2025: A Special Edition of the 12°N 61°W Film Festival
Celebrating Grenadian & Caribbean Stories on Screen
The 12°N 61°W Film Festival marks its 7th year under the theme KINfolk: The Film Showcase, two nights dedicated to the stories, filmmakers, and creative voices shaping Grenadian and Caribbean cinema.
This special edition focuses on national and regional storytelling, a more intimate celebration spotlighting the power of homegrown film, folklore, and cultural expression. Unlike previous years that welcomed an international call, this condensed showcase turns the lens inward, honoring the people and places that continue to define our cinematic identity.
As the lights go down and the stories unfold, audiences will experience a curated mix of short films, documentaries, and conversations that celebrate the heart of Grenadian creativity and the shared rhythm of Caribbean storytelling.

6:30 PM — Closing Feature Film
This year’s showcase also features exclusive premieres of Grenadian-made films and performances by local actors and storytellers, celebrating the creative talent shaping the next chapter of Caribbean cinema.
